An internal advocate who wants the purchase to happen.

ChampionACCOUNT INTELLIGENCE

A champion feels the problem personally and will argue for you when you are not in the room. They frequently cannot sign. The correct use of a champion is to arm them: give them the internal business case, the numbers their economic buyer cares about, and an answer to the objection you know is coming. Mistaking a champion for a decision maker is why forecasts slip.
